All calculations take place in this browser. Nothing entered here is transmitted or saved. Fields are metric for convenience; the calculator converts internally to the POH's published imperial CG envelope.

Do not use the POH sample empty weight. Enter the current basic empty mass and moment from G-SCOP's latest weighing form or approved amendment. Basic empty mass should already include unusable fuel, full operating fluids and full oil.

Aircraft-specific baseline

Use the latest aircraft-specific figures. If the record supplies mass and CG arm instead of moment, moment = mass x arm.

Loading configuration

Off by default. The early-family handbook describes a removable Velcro-held rear bench and a 200 kg cargo configuration at 2.000 m, without a separate additional baggage allowance. G-SCOP's approved AFM, seat-removal mass and arm, floor loading and restraint provisions are not yet confirmed.

Occupants

Use the 47.4 in front-seat position only if the applicable approved seat back-off option is positively identified on that seat.

Baggage and portable equipment

The 4.075 kg preset includes only the measured empty box and two lifejackets, not the expanded unweighed contents. Use the actual complete packed weight for flight planning. Combined baggage and portable equipment must not exceed 40 kg / 88 lb at the baggage station. This is the current EASA TCDS limit for TB9 aircraft up to S/N 399, including G-SCOP S/N 158. In Station wagon mode, rear-cabin cargo plus this baggage-station load must remain within the single 200 kg comparative cargo allowance; it is not 200 kg plus 40 kg. If lifejackets are worn or moved, their mass belongs at the actual occupied station rather than in the box.

Fuel

The available POH gives a rounded worked example consistent with about 0.72 kg/L, not an explicit exact density. Use an appropriate planning density for the actual fuel.

The current EASA type-certificate sheet identifies Edition 0, Revision 1 or later for TB9 aircraft up to S/N 730. A New Zealand CAA type-acceptance report identifies the English publication as Z00.1800030986. A German Edition 0 handbook for D-EGKQ, S/N 196, has been found, but it contains aircraft-specific equipment and a 65 kg baggage figure that conflicts with the current EASA 40 kg limit for early serials. It is useful comparative evidence, not authority for G-SCOP's loading.

Station wagon mode models the comparative handbook's cargo geometry but does not establish that the configuration or its 200 kg figure is approved for G-SCOP. It also cannot determine floor loading, approved restraint points, runway performance, climb performance, fuel reserves, or whether a proposed load is operationally sensible.
